About KBO Duiven

The KBO Duiven is part of the KBO Gelderland. Together with 4 provinces that have also withdrawn, KBO Gelderland forms a Strategic Alliance that will represent national interests under the name Senioren Netwerk Nederland.

The KBO Gelderland (KBOG) is committed to the well-being of all elderly people and stands up for the interests of the elderly. They are committed to better quality in the field of care, welfare, housing and mobility so that the elderly can continue to function independently in this society for as long as possible.

The KBO must and wants to show that it stands for the individual interests of its members and in its activities emphasizes aspects of the individual health, well-being and sense of purpose of the members.

What are we doing?

The board of the KBO Duiven consists entirely of volunteers.

The board is active for its members by (co-)organizing activities on the meeting afternoons such as:

- bingo, film shows, slide presentations, Sinterklaas celebration and Christmas celebration

- trips to museums, party afternoons.

- attention to anniversaries, special birthdays, etc. (sweet) and to the sick and death (suffering)

- theme days which are organized by, among others, the KBO Duiven itself or by KBO Gelderland and/or the joint elderly associations of Duiven, whether or not in collaboration with other bodies such as the WijKern, Mikado
