As a student supervisor, you help our students during the lesson. Our students are adults who have learning difficulties.Detailed description
At Prago, our students learn (better) reading, writing, arithmetic and digital skills. Usually you guide the students one on one, sometimes in a small group. Difficult? No. You will receive help and guidance from the teacher. Fun? Yes. It's fun and the students are happy with you.
What kind of knowledge or skills are needed?
- You have an affinity with our students: people who have difficulty learning and sometimes have other limitations
- You are calm, patient and kind
- You like explaining
- You master the Dutch language well
What makes the work worthwhile for the volunteer?
- Meaningful volunteer work for a few hours a week
- Pleasant cooperation in a small, involved team
- Individual guidance by the qualified teacher who is in charge of the lessons
- A training, together with volunteers from other Prago teaching locations (not mandatory)
- An annual VVV voucher as a thank you for your efforts
